How to Add More Movement to Your Day

We all know how hard it is to make time for physical activity. But did you know that only 20% of adults and 9% of children and youth are getting the recommended amount of physical activity? That's why it's important to find ways to be more active in your day.


One easy way to do this is to get your family and friends involved! Instead of dinner and movie night, plan a brisk walk around the neighbourhood. Or if your family loves to play video games, try going out for a game of bowling or to the local trampoline park. You could even challenge your spouse to a walk after dinner or try a new sport together.


Keeping active doesn't have to be boring or time-consuming. Invite the ones you care about and make it fun! It's also a great way to encourage each other to stay motivated. So don't forget to add a little movement to your day!
