We are open, in the event we are mandated to close, we will let you know.
We are taking every precautionary measure to keep our patients and staff safe, including regular disinfecting of door handles, adjusting beds, sinks and taps, debit machines, etc.
We have hand sanitizer available to our patients and staff and can use gloves if a patient feels more comfortable.
In the meantime, we are here to help you with any acute muscular-skeletal needs.
We have implemented an on the phone and in-person screening assessment.
PART 1:
• Do you have a FEVER and/or NEW ONSET OF COUGH or DIFFICULTY
BREATHING?
PART 2:
• Have you just returned from international travel within the last 2 weeks? Where was this? *
• Have you had any close contact with a confirmed or probable case of COVID-19?
• Have you had close contact with a person with acute respiratory illness who has been to an impacted area?
CALLING IN TO BOOK YOUR APPOINTMENT?
You will be asked the above series of screening questions.
If you answer “YES” to Part 1 & Part 2, or “NO” to Part 1 but “YES” to Part 2, DO NOT COME TO THE CLINIC until our clinic staff check with your chiropractor about the next steps. Next steps could include a call to you from your chiropractor or coming into the clinic at a specific time (where we will take additional precautions) or you may be asked by your chiropractor to go to contact our local health unit.
Answering these screening questions honestly will help staff to do the right things to care for you and for the other people in the clinic at that time.
CHECKING IN (WALK-INS) FOR YOUR CHIROPRACTOR APPOINTMENT?
You will be asked the same series of questions.
If you answer “YES” to Part 1 & Part 2, or “NO” to Part 1 but “YES” to Part 2, you will be asked to use hand sanitizer and put on a mask. You will be brought to an isolation room by staff.
After a more extensive exam (over the phone most likely), your chiropractor will enter your room and provide the next steps with local public health authorities.
